The vision of the cat exhibition is to have as much cat illustrations as possible and fill a whole wall with various artworks in different styles and media. Here you can see my contribution to the exhibition.
I have used many different techniques to create unique cats, from watercolor and acrylic markers to colored pencils and even ballpoint pens. I let myself get inspired from the materials I have on hand; limitations encourage me to find new approaches and try out new things. I also like looking through my drawers of textures to see if I can repurpose any items.
But one thing never changes. I always start with pen on paper for sketching first ideas.
I love framing my work. It makes it real and it's always nice to feel the art you have created digitally.
Cat Fishbowl
They are all framed, packed and ready for hanging. I'm excited how they will look with the art from all the other artists.
