That's a sneek peek of my sketchooks. To start a sketchbook I need to give it some kind of title or purpose, otherwise I don't know where to start or what to draw. So here you can see some of my "assigned" sketchbooks. I will update this site with new drawings and sketchbooks. So keep posted.
Travel memories
These travel illustrations were not made on site, not even in the same year. I still feel very uncomfortable and stressed by drawing outside.
So these illustrations were made by looking back on old travel photos. I picked one or several impressions and started to combine them into a drawing. It's somehow nice to visit the places I have been again by sitting down and draw.
Patter(n) me softly
This is an ongoing drawing practice to find new patterns and colour combinations. I worked with gouache, acrylic paint markers, glue and scissors. I guess that's what they call mixed media :) Maybe one of these will make it on a product.
Drawn (to) objects
I try to keep a drawing habit, where I limit myself on a black fineliner and objects to draw. As you see, I can't help myself to add silly text.
